Coming from an engineering background, he has always been driven by a simple question:

Where It All Began — In Alok's Own Words
In 2017, I lost a friend to the overwhelming pressure surrounding higher education and academic success. His loss left me with a question that stayed with me: why should someone's potential or worth be defined by a single measure of success?
In 2022, another heartbreaking incident involving a student preparing for IIT-JEE brought that question back. I began exploring a deeper problem: why do we spend so much time asking young people what they want to become before helping them understand who they are?
Not everyone is meant to follow the same path. People have different strengths, abilities, personalities, ways of learning, and possibilities.
That realization became the beginning of a journey—years of research, exploration, and learning across behavioral science, psychology, technology, personality, abilities, and career development. And eventually, that journey became Ojasviq.
We believe every individual has unique potential—but many never get the opportunity to truly understand it. Ojasviq was created to help people explore their strengths, understand themselves better, and discover possibilities they may not have considered.
